Digital 'eye' that measures the records

Agmsoft measure digital images of jumps with millimeter precision.
The long jumps are one of the most spectacular events of the Olympic competitions. Athletes defy gravity by posing their feet at an unreachable distance for the rest of the mortals. When it comes to knowing the extent of their jump, however, they must wait at least a minute to know if they have established a world record. The Basque company Agmsoft has developed in collaboration with the firm Sports Solutions a revolutionary digital image measurement system that will allow the referees to visualize in real time and with a better precision compared to the techniques usually used in competition.
